Workshop Description: Beginners to Intermediate Artists

Learn to draw and paint your own pet’s portrait.  Artist, Mary Ann Cox will lead participants through an intensive one day class that concentrates on getting a good likeness of the animal on paper and canvas.

Class Requirements:  Drawing and painting supplies are included in the workshop fee.  YOU WILL NEED TO BRING a few photo copies of the animal (dog) you want to draw and paint.  If you want to bring photos of more than one animal that is fine.  Enlarged copies printed off the computer work very well.  Make sure the photos are well lit so you can easily see the head of the animal.

Class will start at 8:30 and run until 4:30.  There will be an hour lunch break from noon to one.  At the end of the day there will be a sharing time of our finished acrylic paintings and the drawings.
